ANOKA, Minn. — Pentair’s Technical Solutions business is a global provider of systems and solutions safeguarding industrial controls, electrical components, communications hardware, electronic devices and electrical heat management systems.

ANOKA, Minn. — Pentair’s Technical Solutions business’s San Diego manufacturing facility has been awarded with AS9100 Revision C and ISO 9001:2008 Quality System Certifications, according to a press release.

These certifications help to provide customers with the confidence that they are receiving a sustainable, quality product produced within a management system meeting stringent aviation, space and defense requirements, stated the release.

The release reported that AS9100 is an international standard specifying requirements for a quality management system where an organization must demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products meeting customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system.

“To achieve our certification we conducted several self-assessments, worked with our registrar — TÜV — to complete a GAP analysis, with Stage I and Stage II audits,” said Lee Bradley, quality manager for Pentair’s Schroff branded products. “Stage I ensured that our policy, manual, procedures and work instructions met the requirements of the AS standard, and Stage II audited our product, routings, POs, standard work, inspection reports, etc., to assure compliance to our quality system.”

This certification applies specifically to Pentair’s Schroff brand of PCB Retainers, noted the release. It was recently announced that Pentair’s Calmark and Birtcher brands are now part of the Schroff brand.
