Overflow monitoring

Telog has the solution for monitoring overflow sites around the clock. The company's family of CSO/SSO monitoring products will give alarm notification in the event of a potential or occurring overflow event. Each event is recorded with time stamp, level and duration. Data can be downloaded manually without entering confined spaces. Wireless data transfer also is available using cellular or CDPD via Telog's proprietary "buried in the road" antenna. Downloaded data can be formatted with Telogers for Windows to satisfy reporting needs.

Multi-hose pump

Seepex has introduced a new pump design. The new MAP, Multi-Hose Axial Flow Peristaltic Pump, combines the features of progressive cavity and peristaltic pump technologies. The patented design offers seal-less performance with fewer pulsations and longer hose life. The pump can transfer and meter up to six separate fluids simultaneously. Metering with less than one percent flow variation and a 100:1 turndown ratio is possible. The product range includes four models with performance options to 17 US gpm and 90 psig.

Interactive communication system

RACO Manufacturing and Engineering Company announced the introduction of its Catalysttrademark Interactive Communications System, an HMI, wireless, remote, data logging and alarm notification system. It allows users to collect data from, monitor and adjust up to 256 off-site control points from a single location, to stay in touch while off site. The system features up to five megabytes of on-board memory, recording up to 740,000 data samples while monitoring alarms, channel site changes, indicators, meters, switches, and more.

Open-channel flow

The American Sigma 980 Open-Channel Permanent Flow Meter uses three different level/flow sensing technologies and can also monitor pH, rainfall, and temperature. PH/ORP sensors

GLI International is offering a new line of Differential Sensors for measuring pH and ORP in a wide range of applications. The pHDtrademark series uses the company's Differential Electrode Technology. Three measuring electrodes are used instead of the two contained in conventional pH sensors. The process and reference electrodes measure the pH differentially with respect to a third ground electrode.
