Schaefer Inc. has introduced the C1500 Series of 600 Watt, 6U high, VME/Eurorack compatible DC/DC and AC/DC converters. Applications include locomotive controls and communications equipment, telecommunication systems, process control systems, and power stations. All units have remote sensing, overvoltage protection, and current limit protection on the output. Efficiencies run up to 90%. Operating temperatures available include -20°C to +75°C and -40°C to +75°C. This series is available in 8 single input ranges including 10-16, 18-36, 36-75, 45-90, 80-160, 160-320VDC as well as 185-264 and 93-138 / 185-264 (switchable) VAC. Critical fluids monitoring
Supercritical Fluid Technologies introduces a new Data Acquisition Package (DAP) as an option for the SFT Phase Monitor II instrument. The DAP provides real time image and data capture directly to a PC computer. The video image, along with the temperature and pressure data, is displayed on the PC monitor and may be archived directly to the hard drive. In addition, the current date and time are recorded and the user has the ability to enter a short text comment. To capture the video signal, the package includes a PXI (frame grabber) card which needs to be installed into the user’s PC running Windows 2000, NT, XP, or Me.
