Chemical flowmeter

Colorimeter

LaMotte Co. introduces the new multi-wavelength SMART 2 Colorimeter with 75 pre-programmed tests. The new unit replaces the original SMART Colorimeter® and is less than half its size yet contains more pre-loaded tests at less cost. Features include a compact, handheld design and simple menu-driven display that is appropriate for field or lab use. The meter comes with four 25mm vials and with optional cell adapters, can accommodate 16mm COD vials and 10mm vials or cuvettes. The microprocessor driven unit can store three separate sequences made up of tests selected from its pre-programmed list or 10 user-defined tests. Nalco Co. has introduced SMART Solutions for Efficiency, a grade-based offering to the pulp and paper industry designed to maximize operational efficiency and improve finished product performance. It’s supported by an exclusive global distributor agreement with HelioJET Cleaning Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of high pressure, high-temperature water delivery systems. Molded pipe fittings

Double wall tanks

Assmann Corp. expands its overall line of double wall tanks, containment vessels that provide primary and secondary containment in one integral space-saving unit. The expanded line now includes even smaller tanks at 20, 40, 65, 85, 120, and 165 gallon units, in addition to the 150 and 250 gallon units introduced in 2003. The tanks are designed for storing hazardous and corrosive chemicals inside or outside, incorporating Assmann’s IMT system consisting of a primary inner tank and a secondary outer tank.
