Markland offers a Suspended Solids Density Meter that monitors the concentration of primary and secondary sludge in municipal/industrial wastewater biosolids treatment.

Markland offers a Suspended Solids Density Meter that monitors the concentration of primary and secondary sludge in municipal/industrial wastewater biosolids treatment. It is used in open top tanks and pipelines. The sensor is non-intrusive, and can measure concentrations too thick for optical methods. It uses non-radioactive ultrasound (no approvals needed). Readings are not affected by color of particulates/fluid. The meter enables effective, efficient polymer/chemical dosing, and calculation of Solids Mass Flow.
