Variable area flowmeters

ABB's Measurement Products' business announces publication of an eight-page leaflet on variable area flowmeters (rotameters). The leaflet explains their main benefits such as simplicity, cost effectiveness, flexibility, and reliability. According to the leaflet, these meters come pre-calibrated and are easy to install and maintain. They have long life expectancy and no upstream/downstream straight piping requirements. The leaflet notes that many have been operating in a variety of industries and on all kinds of fluids for 50 years or more.

AWWA website

The American Water Works Association has updated its website. The enhanced design provides improved functionality for members, customers and other visitors. Some of the updates include one-stop shopping for event registration, products and other purchases, an international event calendar, enhanced Journal AWWA and Opflow online publications, and easier access to knowledge about available volunteer opportunities. AWWA has made an FAQ page available to answer basic questions about the new website.

Plug valves

Val-Matic has released an updated version of its Cam-Centric® Plug Valve brochure. The brochure covers the company's threaded, standard port, 100% port, 3-way and 4-way plug valves.
