WSI conference draws international attendance

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Nine hundred attendees took part in the conference in Las Vegas this year.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The sixth annual WaterSmart Innovations (WSI) Conference and Exposition, which took place this Oct. 2-4 in Las Vegas, drew more than 900 professionals, according to a press release.

Attendees from public water agencies, private manufacturers and academia in Australia, China, Denmark, India, Israel, Liberia, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland and the U.K. took part in professional sessions, panel discussions and workshops, the release reported.

According to the release, approximately 70 companies and organizations took part in the WSI expo.

Director of Sustainability for MillerCoors Kim Marotta gave the keynote address, continued the release, and technical tours to the Clark County Wetlands Park, Hoover Dam, Springs Preserve and Venetian resort educated attendants on water-efficiency practices in Nevada.
