The Iron Breaker III iron filter is designed to remove iron and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) to eliminate iron staining and "rotten egg" odor throughout the home.
The patented technology uses oxidation instead of chemicals to convert iron or H2S to a particle that is trapped by the catalytic filter media. Next, the unit backwashes, removing iron particles and replenishing itself for the next service cycle. An optional ozone generator feature automatically sanitizes the unit.
