MONTREAL, CANADA, March 31, 2015 -- Ovivo Inc., a global company dedicated to water and wastewater treatment, recently announced that it has been awarded two significant contracts totaling more than $20 million to provide services in the North American and European markets.
The first contract, valuing over C$10 million ($7.9 million), will allow Ovivo to supply a membrane bioreactor (MBR) system in the North American municipal market. The contract is one of many sales of MBR technology booked by Ovivo in the last two years, totaling more than $90 million. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in 2016.
The second contract, valuing over C$11 million ($8.7 million), will allow Ovivo to supply a complete demineralization system for a petrochemical plant in Europe. The system is part of a combined cycle power plant that will have the flexibility to feed electricity into the national power grid, as well as to supply the facility with process steam and electricity. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in 2016.
