Working directly with craft brewers from around the globe to solve problems specific to their brewing applications, we have designed a collection of scalable, modular subassembly systems specifically for the industry. Just a few examples are cellar controls packages, sparge water controls, wort aeration, brew house systems, source water makeup systems, neutralization systems, and steam control systems.
All of these systems can be provided in any format, size, and scale, depending on the process needs. The current Burkert automation technology portfolio comprises the following platforms and protocols, just to name a few: Ethernet/IP, Modbus/TCP, ProfiNET, EtherCAT, ET 200S, CANopen, AS-I 3.0, IO Link, ProfiBUS DPV2, Phoenix Inline, DeviceNET, Point I/O, ET 200SP, ET 200HA, and Wago System 750.
Our most recent innovation allows our customers to “live tap” into either the processor of the process variable or control element via our EDIP platform. This gives unheard of advantages for our customers both today and for years to come, allowing for successive process improvements and upgrades, all with the existing hardware already in-place.
