Hapman developed a skid-mounted wastewater treatment system for a mining company with a labor-intensive process of mixing dry ingredients with neutralization properties and process water for wastewater treatment. The new automated process begins with a bag dump station with integral dust collection to dry material into a feeder hopper. The feeder meters the flow of dry material into Hapman’s exclusive solidquid eductor system. Motive process liquid supplied to the eductor inlet creates a vacuum, pulling the dry material into suspension and dispersing them evenly into the effluent flow that results in a slurry. The slurry is pumped to one of two mixing tanks where further blending occurs.
