Compact interface relays
IDEC Corporation’s 14 mm-wide RV8H interface relay saves up to 40% of the space required by standard ice-cube relays. The RV8H compact relay family includes SPDT models, rated up to 16A; and DPDT models, rated up to 8A. All versions are available with AC or DC input, with input voltages from 5 VDC to 240 VAC. The relays are available pre-assembled in a DIN-mount socket, and this universal AC/DC socket includes built-in surge suppression and a green LED indicator. The entire socket and relay assembly is UL listed, and a release lever is included for easy locking and removal.
Spiral Water Technologies now offers two high-solids water filtration skids with its next generation Model 810 automatic, self-cleaning filter. The FS1 and FS2 skids - with one and two Model 810 filters respectively - have been designed to address the problem of high and variable suspended solids removal found in multiple industries around the world. Delivering flows of up to either 75 or 150 gallons per minute, the FS1 and FS2 Skids remove ultra-high and variable TSS of up to 25,000 mg/L, as well as oil and grease, in just one pass. Compact and modular, the FS1 and FS2 Skids include an epoxy-coated steel support frame, pipe manifolds, and programmable electronics to control filter performance and purge timing.
The Sludge Pro® double disc pump by Wastecorp is designed for wastewater, sludge and sewage pumping for government and industry. The pump is a style of low maintenance wastewater pump with fluid handling capabilities ranging from 10 to 500 gallons per minute (GPM). The benefits of Sludge Pro engine driven double disc pumps include no regular scheduled maintenance required, available pressure sensors to assist in detecting blockages or closed valves in the line, and an optional industry-exclusive hydraulic lift system for easy access to pump internals.
The InnovaMass 240i and 241i vortex mass flow meters from Sierra Instruments have been specifically designed for precise flow energy management in steam, compressed air, natural gas, and water applications. Capable of measuring five process variables with one instrument, forms of energy in flow include heat energy (BTU or joules) in steam or water, the potential combustive energy in natural gas, and the potential expansion energy in compressed air, to name a few. The onboard Smart Interface Portal (SIP) software allows end users quick access to field validation and meter configuration.
CAS DataLoggers’ MX2001 Bluetooth® Low Energy-enabled Water Level Datalogger, combined with Onset’s HOBOmobile® app, is designed for wireless communication. Featuring convenient data retrieval to a phone or tablet, this easy-to-use datalogger is an ideal solution for water level studies and research. With no cumbersome vent tubes or desiccants to maintain, the MX2001 features a ceramic pressure sensor, durable housing, and an integrated barometric pressure sensor for barometric compensation in the logger. This allows for direct water level readout without any post-processing. An optional cap is available for deployment in existing wells or stilling wells. The MX2001 operates in outdoor and underwater environments and supports the following measurements: absolute pressure, barometric pressure, differential pressure, water level and water temperature.
GSSI’s Profiler™ EMP-400 multi-frequency electromagnetic (EM) conductivity meter is perfect for use in geological investigation, site assessment, and groundwater investigation. Featuring a lightweight, environmentally sealed EM instrument and handheld interface with integrated GPS, GSSI’s Profiler is extremely mobile. Advanced software features offer the user several options to view the data in real time. Additionally, the Profiler stores files in a Microsoft Excel format in internal memory for later access.
The TracStar 1200 from McElroy features an advanced emission control engine that burns ultra-low-sulfur diesel to meet the EPA’s latest Tier 4 standards. The TracStar 1200 butt fuses pipe from 16” OD to 48” OD (450 mm to 1200 mm) and can traverse most any terrain - mud, loose soil, snow and grades up to 30%. It is self-contained with an on-board generator for powering the hydraulic pivoting heater and facer. The 3- or 4-jaw convertible carriage is easily removable for in-ditch use. Other features include hydraulic outriggers for machine stability and leveling, an ergonomic operator platform and remote engine stop/start capabilities.
