TORONTO, Canada, Dec. 20, 2005 -- Advanced Utility Systems is pleased to announce that the following clients have now gone live on CIS Infinity®: the city of Pomona, the city of Cerritos, the first three member cities of LOGIS and Reedy Creek Improvement District.
The four organizations represent six implementations:
• The city of Pomona, Calif., bills about 29,000 active accounts for water, wastewater, and solid waste services. Pomona went live with CIS Infinity in April, 2005.
• The city of Cerritos, Calif., which provides water, sewer, fire and solid waste services to about 15,000 customers went live in June, 2005.
• Three member cities of LOGIS (Local Government Information Systems Association): Maple Grove, Lakeville and Richfield, Minnesota went live on CIS Infinity in July of 2005. The three cities are the first group of 18 member cities of LOGIS to go live on the software, while the others are due to implement CIS Infinity over the next 18 months. Maple Grove bills about 21,000 customers on a quarterly basis for water, sewer, streetlights, recycling, water treatment and commercial centre membership services. Lakeville provides water, sewer, streetlights, and storm drainage services to about 14,500 customers and bills on a quarterly basis. Richfield bills about 11,000 customers for water, sewer, recycling, storm drainage and service charges on a quarterly basis.
• Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID) which provides electric, natural gas, water, and solid waste services, is the home of Walt Disney World, and encompasses 25,000 acres in the heart of Central Florida. RCID went live in early October, 2005.
Patricia Sorbara, president and CEO of Advanced, said this about the recent implementation successes: "CIS implementations are complicated and as a result the risk of failure of these projects can be quite high. A successful implementation requires a strong working relationship between vendor and client as well as a commitment to getting the job done." Sorbara continued: "The fact that Advanced has successfully completed six implementations of CIS Infinity in seven months is evidence of the hard work and dedication of our clients and staff."
