APATEQ announces opening of first U.S. subsidiary in Spring, Texas

APATEQ recently announced the opening of its first subsidiary in the United States, situated in the census-designated region of Spring, Texas, in the north of Houston.

Oct. 27, 2015 -- APATEQ, a developer and manufacturer of turnkey, custom-designed fracking flowback and produced water treatment systems, recently announced the opening of its first subsidiary in the United States.

The company -- which is situated in the census-designated region of Spring, Texas, in the north of Houston -- will focus on promoting and offering one-stop solutions and support services for the innovative treatment of fracking flowback and produced water directly to the U.S. market.

The new subsidiary will be responsible for all go-to-market activities around APATEQ solutions in North America and will act as a hub for all North American cooperation partners of APATEQ.

"In terms of international expansion, the United States are the No. 1 strategic market for us," said APATEQ CEO Bogdan Serban. "Whether in attracting new customers or offering support to our existing clientele, our goal is to provide users of our systems with a cost-effective, best-value solution and to offer a fast response service."

"To achieve this, we need to be as close as possible to the market," he said. "So setting up a subsidiary in the United States was an undeniable milestone, also in view of our ambitious growth targets."

Engineering and manufacturing of the APATEQ systems for the North American market takes place in Europe at the company's headquarters in Luxembourg according to highest quality standards. The first plant for the U.S. market has been shipped recently, and it will treat produced
water for a water service provider to the oil and gas industry.
