BOSTON, Mass., Sept. 5, 2002 -- Agronix Inc. announced the appointment of Peter S. Drummond as the new Chairman and CEO for the company, effective immediately.
Peter Drummond, a resident of Auckland, New Zealand, has extensive international management and marketing experience in the Waste and Sewage treatment industry. Effective immediately, Peter Drummond has been appointed the Chairman and CEO of Agronix, Inc, and is also currently the Chairman of Watercare Services.
Watercare Services is a billion dollar company based out of New Zealand, and is the bulk supplier of water and wastewater services to the Auckland region. Drummond has also held the Chairmanship of four other corporations, two of which are related to the waste industry including landfills, transfer stations, solid municipal waste, and water treatment and sewer sludge disposal. Previously, he was chairman of one of New Zealand's first composting companies.
