AdEdge joins Endress+Hauser partner program
Endress+Hauser announced AdEdge Water Technologies has joined its OEM Business Partner Program. The two companies will collaborate to ensure technology alignment, improve operating efficiencies, and explore new opportunities to trim costs, mitigate risk, and develop new service models that ultimately deliver more value for their mutual end user customers. Endress+Hauser’s OEM Business Partner Program is a new concept that develops and enables a higher level and more strategic OEM customer relationship that is focused on tangible business results and people development. As part of the OEM Business Partner Program, AdEdge Water Technologies will develop its specifications around Endress+Hauser technologies and provide those technologies across AdEdge solutions sets. Xylem and WE&RF renew partnership
Xylem announced its commitment to a renewed research partnership with the Water Environment & Reuse Foundation (WE&RF). The multi-year commitment (2017-2019) to support WE&RF research into water reuse builds on a previous three-year research partnership and solidifies Xylem’s commitment to advancing the use of recycled water. The commitment includes financial support as well as in-kind contributions, which will help accelerate the development and implementation of innovative approaches to delivering recycled water that will lead to increased adoption of this sustainable water resource management practice. The partnership will help to enhance and advance WE&RF’s water reuse research portfolio. Xylem will also support the WE&RF’s exploration of advanced data analytics for the water sector, as well as its utility analytics and infrastructure management research.
Between 2014 and 2016, Xylem’s partnership with the foundation supported 13 research projects and resulted in numerous peer-reviewed publications and several webcasts and workshops. Xylem’s commitment also accelerated the adoption of reuse at facilities in California and across the country.
De.mem awarded new projects
Water and wastewater treatment company De.mem announced that its 100-percent owned subsidiaries Akwa-Worx Pty Ltd and Akwa Facility Maintenance Pty Ltd have been awarded four new customer contracts, totaling approximately A$300,000. These projects will start immediately.
Scope of work includes:
- Delivery of a containerized sludge dewatering system to a company, which is part of the Glencore group, for deployment at a mining site in Queensland.
- Delivery of a pump station to metro mining for deployment at the Skardon River project in Queensland.
- Delivery of a chemical dosing system to M&K Pipelines QLD Pty Ltd, a Queensland-based small to medium sized company (SME).
- A short-term operations and maintenance agreement with a luxury resort on Hayman Island, Queensland. Under the contract, Akwa Facility Maintenance will operate the water and sewage treatment plants in the resort for a period of three months.
