Halogen Systems Inc. announces availability of its new wastewater sensors. The company’s patented amperometric chlorine sensors do not use reagents or membranes. They are unaffected by changing flow rates, can be installed directly in a pipe or immersed in a tank or channel. Sensors are self-cleaning in difficult water conditions and ideally suited for reclaimed water applications. The sensor measures five parameters: chlorine, pH, conductivity, temperature and ORP. Calibrations are stable for months, and there is no scheduled maintenance for 12 months. They often need no calibration at startup and read accurately within five minutes of startup.
